The Defense Information Systems Agency’s (DISA) information technology contracting division is seeking proposals for a potential operations systems solution contract to provide hardware and software sustainment and mission support services to the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA).

The DeCA Enterprise Business Operations Systems Solution contract will help maintain DeCA systems. Specifically, it will cover maintenance support for hardware, software, and third-party applications used at various commissary locations, according to a notice posted on October 23 on SAM.gov.

Under this contract, the vendor will provide operational, procedural, and contract management support to assist DeCA and support future hardware and software.

Some support services include planning and execution, test and evaluation, transition of emerging technologies, program management, project management, and contract management to ensure timely and effective performance. In addition, the contract will support systems fielded under 2015 contracts DeCA awarded to NCR Government Systems and IBM.

DeCA officials expect work under the five-year contract to commence on January 28, 2024. The solicitation did not provide further details on the value of the contract.

Responses to DISA’s solicitation are due November 29.
