The pandemic has shown that Federal computer systems are aging, redundant, and struggling. Congress appropriated $1 billion to the Technology Modernization Fund in the $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan, and the House Committee on Oversight and Reform recently proposed an additional $1 billion in TMF funding as part of the reconciliation bill.

These funds present an immense opportunity to modernize our aging government technology systems – helping accelerate significant modernization in cyber security, citizen service delivery, Federal health, benefits administration, and more.

On December 16, we’ll gather with a growing roster of bipartisan Congressional leaders for our first TMF Forward program. Our goal is to showcase the tangible value of TMF, build support, drive agency adoption, ensure future funding for this important program, and improve outcomes for all Americans.

According to recent MeriTalk research, 88% of American citizens want the government to prioritize improving data security and privacy over many other issue areas. Congress and the administration couldn’t agree more. However, legacy government IT systems and software supply chains are increasingly threatened by cyberattacks, and it’s imperative that agencies accelerate progress in strengthening their security postures. In this session, speakers will address how TMF is instrumental in improving and modernizing cybersecurity technologies for a more secure America.
