CISA, ODNI, DoD Recognize Supply Chain Integrity Month

supply chain risk management process automation

In welcoming the start of April, also known as Supply Chain Integrity Month, the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), Office of the Director of National Intelligence, and Defense Department are collaborating to promote supply chain security and risk management policies and practices. CISA, which is a component of the Department of Homeland Security, said that breaches in supply chain leave equipment and networks at risk for the installation of malicious software or hardware. “Lack of awareness or validation of the legitimacy of hardware and software presents a serious risk to users’ information and the overall integrity of a network environment,” CISA said.
