Robert Bone Tapped to Lead FBI’s Counterintelligence and Cyber Division

FBI Director Chris Wray announced Aug. 5 that Robert Bone will be special agent in charge of the Counterintelligence and Cyber Division of the Los Angeles Field Office. Bone joined the FBI in 2001 and most recently served as deputy assistant director of the Operational Technology Division. In that position he led a team that “develops and deploys technology to enable and enhance FBI operations.” He has also served as the chief inspector of the FBI’s Inspection Division.
