The FedRAMP Program Management Office (PMO) announced March 24 that it has recently joined YouTube. The PMO said its channel will serve as “a one-stop source for quick, simple, informative videos on FedRAMP tutorials, and program updates.”

In a statement, the PMO said that a defining feature of the new channel will be its short FedRAMP videos that provide an overview of the program, legal policy and framework, the authorization process, and the FedRAMP Marketplace. The PMO said it hopes the channel will make information “more accessible to all stakeholders.”

In a video posted yesterday, FedRAMP provides an overview of the new FedRAMP website, which launched on Feb. 16. The website was revamped to “further empower agencies to use innovative cloud technologies and to continue driving security and protection of Federal information.”

The refreshed website has had its content refined to better outline the authorization process using visuals and more concise language. Additionally, it has an improved user experience by making guidance and other documents easier to find with robust filtering and search capabilities.

The PMO said that over the course of 2021 it will post new videos on a regular basis that are “timely and relevant to FedRAMP.” The PMO also encouraged interested parties to reach out with ideas and suggestions for new videos.
