The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is looking to significantly overhaul its online presence, and on Wednesday opened bidding on a contract to develop a content management system for VA.gov–the agency’s primary website. The overhaul is part of the agency’s larger VA Digital Modernization initiative. The agency wants to turn the website into a one-stop shop where veterans and their families can apply for benefits and access all of the agency’s services. The initial contract will run six months and have two potential six-month option periods. Responses are due Aug. 22.
