Rep. Richmond to Chair Homeland Security Cyber Subcommittee

The House Homeland Security Committee announced today that Rep. Cedric Richmond, D-La., will chair the Subcommittee on Cybersecurity, Infrastructure Protection, and Innovation. Richmond, a representative since 2011, was ranking member of the subcommittee during the last session of Congress. During his time on the subcommittee, Richmond has been vocal on the cybersecurity workforce shortage and funding for critical infrastructure protection.
