MITRE Taps New VPs for Intelligence Programs, Human Resources

MITRE’s new vice president for intelligence programs and vice president of human resources are Charles Clancy and Gus Bentivegna, respectively, the organization wrote in a May 14 press release. Bentivegna – who joined MITRE in April to enhance talent experience and total rewards compensation and benefits programs – will begin his new role immediately, and Clancy will effectively take up his new position July 8. Clancy currently serves as director of the Hume Center for National Security at Virginia Tech but previously worked for the National Security Agency. MITRE said Clancy has gained international recognition for his expertise in wireless security – particularly in 5G, artificial intelligence, and machine learning – and in leading programs in spectrum security and cryptographic authentication.
