Fidelis Cybersecurity has hired Danny Pickens to serve as director of its threat research team. Fidelis said on Wednesday that Pickens will lead the team that incorporates data and insight into its Elevate threat detection platform. Pickens, a noncommissioned officer in charge of an intelligence team at U.S. Army Reserve, had previously worked as a director at Optiv’s Global Threat Intelligence Center, and in analyst roles at ManTech International and BAE Systems. He brings a combined 10 years of military intelligence in counterterrorism and cybersecurity to the new role.
