Nominations Sought for ‘Service to the Citizens’ Awards

Dorris Consulting International is seeking nominations for its 2019 Service to the Citizens Awards, which aim to recognize “those public servants who demonstrate excellence in their delivery of services that impact the public’s lives” through the organization’s Champions of Change Program. Areas of recognition that will be considered for nominees include “use of innovation and innovative technology to transform government services,” “use of data (e.g., customer data, open data) to improve citizen services,” and improvement in cybersecurity and intergovernmental collaboration, according to the nominations form. Nominations are due Jan. 31.  Winners will be chosen in the spring, and recognized at a luncheon on May 2 at the Willard InterContinental Hotel in Washington.
