Congressman Doug Collins, R-Ga., is expected to introduce legislation that will require FCC Connect America Fund (CAF) broadband subsidy recipients to provide additional information about their internet speed and latency testing, according to a report by Politico. In a statement, Collins said that the CAF Accountability Act “institutes specific tools to hold providers accountable for accurate reporting while ensuring households and businesses throughout our rural communities have access to the broadband services required to compete in the 21st-century economy.”
