Dr. Elizabeth Di Bene

Dr. Elizabeth Di Bene is an Enterprise Cybersecurity Director with nearly 25 years of experience specializing in high-stakes systems engineering and risk management.

Her career began in a technical capacity with the United States Marine Corps, where she focused on the engineering of complex weapon systems for the Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Research Development and Acquisition.

She transitioned into the federal sector, serving as a Federal Information Systems Security Manager for agencies including the CIA, NGA, and USDA, and directing authorization decisions for the DEA to ensure compliance with Presidential directives and federal law.

Currently, as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for Loudoun County, she leverages her doctoral degree in Cybersecurity to design and implement strategic security programs that safeguard critical CJIS, HIPAA, PCI DSS and NIST data sets.

Dr. Di Bene remains a dedicated leader in the field, integrating defensive and offensive operations to protect the underpinning of the enterprise risk management value chain.
