Duncan Edwards

SpyCloud

After a nearly 30-year career in federal law enforcement, Duncan Edwards joined SpyCloud in November 2021 as a Senior Investigator on the Federal Investigations Team. He held positions with both the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the U.S. Marshals Service (USMS), serving in management roles in field offices and at headquarters, as well as in specialized operational positions.

At the USMS, Duncan was responsible for hunting fugitives, providing physical security, and supporting special operations. During his time at the FBI, he gained extensive experience investigating cybercrime, financial fraud, human trafficking, child sexual abuse material (CSAM), organized crime, property crimes, drug crimes, public corruption, violent crime, and a wide range of other federal offenses.

After retiring from the FBI, Duncan obtained a Texas Commission on Law Enforcement license and serves as a Reserve Deputy with the Travis County Sheriff’s Office. He is also the Security Director at City Reach Church in Cedar Park, Texas.

At SpyCloud, Duncan is passionate about unmasking human traffickers and their organizations, uncovering their tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), and identifying victims. He also supports law enforcement by identifying individuals involved in CSAM, fraud, and cybercrime for further investigation and action.

Outside of work, Duncan is the football announcer for Glenn High School, enjoys spending time with his four rescued Cane Corsos, and, along with his wife, cares for their 12 Longhorn cattle at Venom Ranch near Waco, Texas.
