Daniel Ellis

Daniel Ellis is a Senior Staff Solutions Architect focused on driving strategy and architecture across the Air Force. Daniel also supports key initiatives across the DoD regarding major efforts like JADC2, ABMS, and JEDI. Daniel has over 18 years of engineering and architecture experience supporting DoD and the intelligence community. He has spent the last six years at VMware serving as a delivery consultant, pre-sale engineer, and now as an architect.
Daniel is focused multi-Cloud strategies and helping customers align to IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS strategies. He has served as a member of the Office of the CTO at VMware, where he was focused on helping the VMUG community. He has presented at several VMUG UserCons across Philly, NY/NJ, and Maryland. Daniel has also been a presenter at VMworld, VMware’s World Wide Sales Kickoff, and the DoD Cloud Summit. When not supporting customers, Daniel enjoys spending time with his family and riding mountain bikes.
