Ms. Christina Dance joins Workday after 34 years serving in Defense Intelligence. Christina last served as the Program Manager for the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) Human Resource Modernization in the Office of Human Resources. Appointed in February 2023, she led the integration and implementation of the new Human Capital Management System (HCMS), ensuring a streamlined, cost-effective, and mission-aligned HR solution. She also oversaw the program’s planning, budgeting, and execution.
Previously, Ms. Dance was Chief of Partner Engagement and Deputy IT Career Field Manager in the Chief Information Office, where she led efforts in enterprise IT service delivery, partner support, talent management, and IT accessibility for over 50,000 users.
Ms. Dance completed two joint duty assignments supporting Office of the Director of National Intelligence’s IC ITE initiatives, leading major transformations and service innovations as Chief of Customer Care for the IC Desktop and Chief of the IC Enterprise Management Program.
Her earlier roles include leading HR strategy, change management initiatives, and enterprise IT transformation efforts, notably consolidating $160M in IT funding and personnel across nine combatant commands into DIA.
Ms. Dance is a recipient of DIA’s Meritorious Civilian Service Award, Award for Excellence, the National Intelligence Certificate of Distinction, and the IC Excellence Award.
