Mr. Alzaga identified the process of using end of life equipment which could be repurposed as small-scale training environments by Cyberspace Operations Squadrons. He developed nine new position descriptions which highlighted the knowledge, skills and abilities key for future Cyberspace Protection Teams based on the NICE framework. Mr. Alzaga drafted first ever ICS workshop plan which facilitated cooperative efforts between Southwest Research Institute and Air Force teams. The plan enabled used to train Cyberspace War fighters on penetration testing methodology focused on ICS components communicating via the BACNet protocol. Developed TTP to create a nodal view within Moloch to correlate memory captured user activity associated with lateral movement using compromised accounts in order to correlate actions with captured network traffic. Created a Civilian roadmap used to vector Cyberspace Mission Forces civilians based on a host/network analyst specialty 10-year plan. Mr. Alzaga drove the deployment of 112 hours of cyberspace training, developing 25 leaders and meeting Air Combat Command’s number one training priority. His leadership was key to the integration of 21 Department of Defense partners during four joint exercises and enabled the sharing of tactics, techniques, procedures, and intelligence between two North Atlantic Treaty Organization nations, bolstering their partnership during the Ukraine/Russia Crisis. Finally, Mr. Alzaga’s efforts achieved an EXCEPTIONAL Unit Climate Assessment rating for Unit Inclusivity, Connectedness, Cohesion, and a Supportive Leadership for All Supervisors resulting an astounding transformational Leadership Rating for Unit Leader score of 97%!
