Bill English is the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and the Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer (CAIO) for the General Services Administration Office of Inspector General (GSA OIG). Additionally, he chairs the Council of Inspectors General on Integrity and Efficiency (CIGIE) CIO Subcommittee for all 70 Offices of Inspector General CIOs.
Prior to his career in the federal government, he worked with organizations either as a consultant or leading technical operations for companies such as MCI Telecommunications, Sprint, Nextel, General Electric (GE) and SLB (formerly Schlumberger).
Bill earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Hampden-Sydney College and has recently completed the Leading an AI-Powered Future certificate program at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
