More States OK CenturyLink-Level3 Merger

Delaware, Hawaii, Maryland, and Washington, D.C., became the latest states to approve the merger of CenturyLink and Level 3 Communications on April 11. The merger, announced in October, combines the cloud provider and the communications company, which serve Federal and state agencies. Georgia, Ohio, Utah, West Virginia, Texas, Connecticut, Indiana, Louisiana and Nevada have already approved of the merger.

Hilton Software Gets Mobile Tech Contract

The National Geospatial Intelligence Agency awarded Hilton Software a contract for mobile aeronautical technology on March 28. Under the $17 million contract, the company will provide multiplatform mobile technologies. NGA’s Aeronautical Mobile Application program supports the Department of Defense and the Federal Aviation Administration, as well as foreign partners. The contract will last five years.
