Justin Marsico

U.S. Treasury, Bureau of the Fiscal Service

Justin Marsico is the Assistant Commissioner for fraud prevention and financial integrity at the U.S. Treasury Department’s Fiscal Service, where he is working to prevent fraud and improper payments in federal government finances. Justin also serves as the Fiscal Service’s data lead, which includes the publication of USAspending.gov and FiscalData.Treasury.gov.

Before joining Treasury, Justin served as a senior advisor in the Inspector General’s office at the Department of Commerce, where he worked in ethics and compliance as an analyst at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and previously at Treasury as an international economist.

Justin holds master’s degrees from the University of Michigan in applied economics and public policy. He now lives in Arlington, VA.
