Federal agencies are making “mixed progress” on key Federal data center optimization targets, according to the U.S. Government Accountability Office. Artificial intelligence (AI) is coming to help – and in some cases is already here, a recent survey found.

MeriTalk, in partnership with Future Tech, surveyed 150 Federal IT decision-makers to explore how agencies are optimizing IT operations and data centers with AI, and how Federal systems integrators (FSIs) can help. Half of respondents said their agency has begun piloting AI for IT optimization – and 62% feel their agency’s data center will be unmanageable without AI integration in the next two years.
