Don Tweedie is the Deputy Chief Information Officer of Technology Delivery (DCIO-TD) at the Federal Communications Commission – the government agency responsible for regulating interstate and international communication by radio, television, wire, and satellite for the United States and its territories.
As DCIO-TD, Don leads the delivery of technical capabilities that meet evolving business needs through agile, secure, and cost-effective solutions. His leadership spans cloud modernization, application development, and service management, with a strong emphasis on cybersecurity compliance. Don and his team prioritize customer experience by building strong relationships and ensuring high levels of satisfaction in service delivery.
Having previously served as a Branch Chief for the U.S. Census Bureau, and boasting a wealth of experience in virtualization engineering and solutions architecture, Don is uniquely positioned to usher the FCC into a new era of technological innovation and operational efficiency. With his 24 years of industry experience, Don is regarded as a values-driven leader, who fosters a culture of excellence and drives crucial initiatives to bolster organizational success.
