Army, National Guard U.S. National Guard (retired)Torres served as the Chief, Cyber Plans and Sustainment for the National Guard Bureau, Air National Guard, leading 30 personnel and directing the strategic and enterprise-wide acquisition planning activities across the full spectrum of cyberspace operations. Before moving to the ANG in July 2011, she was the Director, Defense Knowledge Online (DKO) and Secure Go Mobile (SGM) where she worked with DoD agencies to implement a mobile strategy to enable DoD to use the latest smartphone technology in a secure, certified environment. Torres received many accolades throughout her career, including the 2010 Federal Computer Week “Federal 100” award. She was part of the Federal CIO team that wrote the White House Digital Government Strategy, published in May 2012.Torres holds degrees from University of Puerto Rico, St. Mary’s University, and Air Command & Staff College.
