Send Word Now’s first monthly session kicks off with Bruce Blythe, CEO of Crisis Management International, Inc. Widely regarded as a thought leader in the industry, Bruce has worked with hundreds of Fortune companies and other organizations in crisis prevention, preparedness and response. He is a former Marine, certified clinical psychologist and has served as a consultant to the FBI on terrorism and workplace violence. Blythe has been personally involved in crises such as the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, the Oklahoma City bombing, Hurricanes Andrew and Katrina, corporate and commercial air crashes, Ecuadorian jungle rescue of kidnap and ransom hostages, Coca Cola truck/bus crash in Texas that killed 23 school children, earthquakes in Los Angeles and San Francisco and multiple workplace shootings. He has also appeared on the Today Show, CNN, ABC’s 20/20, CBS’ 48 Hours, CNBC, NPR, The Wall Street Journal and USA Today.
